Tactical Armored Vehicle Acquisition Checklist:
•Does the proposed vehicle exceed the front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR)?
•Does the proposed vehicle exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)?
•Does the proposed vehicle have an altered wheelbase, drivetrain and/or associated components that lead to premature failure and void the OEM warranty?
•Does the proposed vehicle contain aftermarket and modified chassis components making the OEM warranty void?
•Did the manufacturer test their armoring through full vehicle destructive ballistic and blast testing or did they submit sample pieces to a lab for testing?
•Did the manufacturer perform ballistic and blast testing of their advertised threat capabilities at an accredited ballistic laboratory with provided test certification documents?
